Quick Summer Update: Rock Workshop, Concerts & Exciting News!

Hi Music Friends, 

I hope you’re having a wonderful week! 

We are fast approaching a very busy, music-filled summer, and I want to make sure you don't miss out on any of the action. 

First, a huge thank you to those who came along to the "Summer Songs and Hymns of Praise" with the Croydon Brass Band last night!  It was a fantastic success.On a personal note, I absolutely loved just being a participating member of the band for once! I didn't have the stress of arriving super early, setting up, doing the talking, or managing the event. I just got to play my Baritone horn and enjoy the music. 

It was wonderful, so thank you to those who came to support us! 

Rock Vocal Workshop: Important Update!

Our "Stand Out From the Crowd" Rock Vocal Workshop is shaping up to be an absolute blast! To make this happen, we need a good group of 20+ of us in the room!  The great news is that 25 people have expressed interest! But right now, we only have 3 payments and just 1 person has completed the form. Head over to my Website Workshop Page to book your spot, or simply click the link at the bottom of this page & don't forget to RSVP! To cover the venue costs and secure the hall, I need a definitive head count as soon as possible. Here is what you need to know to lock in your spot:

• The Early Bird Price: Just £25 if you book and pay by the deadline. 
• The Deadline: Saturday 8th August. 
• Paying on the door? That is absolutely fine, but you must still fill out the Google Form before August 8th to let me know you are coming. 
• Standard Price: Turn-ups or registrations after August 8th will be £30.

 Even if you haven't paid yet, please take 30 seconds to fill out the form right now so I know you're coming! It helps me massively with tracking numbers.

 Summer Recap & Lineup!

Here is a quick, easy guide to what’s coming up next:

1. Euphoric Harmony End of Term Sing, 

• Date & Time: Sunday 5th July at 2:00pm 
• What it is: This is purely just for a fun end-of-term Sing—it's not a formal concert, but we absolutely welcome people to come and watch. They always love a crowd! 

2. Sing for Happiness Choir Concert: 

• Date & Time: Saturday 11th July at 7:00pm 
• What it is: We are raising money for the amazing charity Goals for GOSH (Great Ormond Street Hospital). It’s going to be an absolute blast, and yes—I will definitely be getting you all to join in from your seats!  NO entry fee just contributions towards this fantastic charity. Cold Refreshments will be served. 

3.  The Rock Vocal Workshop

• Date & Time: Saturday 15th August | 10:00am – 2:00pm 
• What we're doing: Safe rock belting, integrated body percussion (stomps and claps), and creating a massive, Queen-style "wall of sound" harmony!

 Looking Ahead: Growing Our Community!

I want to say a massive THANK YOU for your incredible support—whether you’re reading my newsletters, opening my "e - mails", or coming along to our events.  I absolutely love managing my own music, and it's because of all of you that it's so rewarding! 

Looking ahead, I am hoping to open another choir on a Saturday morning once a month called "Let's Just Sing!"  It’s all part of my vision for bringing our growing communities together through music. Stay tuned for more details on that soon!
